Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance range earned her popular acclaim across a range of genres from period drama to thrillers and action. Johansson was the daughter of an architect and a producer, was born in New York City. Hunter and her twin brother and She were the youngest of four children. She developed an interest in acting at an early age and was auditioning for commercials before the age of seven. Following a short period her studies began at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then, in the following years there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. When she was eight years old, Johansson starred alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. At the age of nine, she debuted in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson later appeared on screen in Just Cause (1995) but her first breakthrough came with Manny & Lo (1996) a coming-of-age film about abandoned sisters who escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played a teenager with a deformity due to an accident garnered the film critical acclaim. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca) Johansson received even more recognition. She's among the principal characters. She is also a talented stage performer. Her performances were stunning in Wildflower and in other productions. Renee Felice's career in entertainment began at a very young age. Smith was drawn to performing as a child. Smith got her debut acting job at the young age of 6 with her parents' help. Smith created a commercial for Dannon. In the same way as many young actresses she began her stage career. While working on different productions in the USA she also had her debut on stage in Wildflower. She studied in The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
